Architecture
Where design thinking began. Exploring the relationship between human behavior and physical space.
The foundations of structure and flow.
Before moving into digital product design, I studied Architecture at the University of Cape Town. These student projects from 2015 represent my early exploration into spatial planning, technical drafting, and 3D visualization. This foundational training instilled in me a rigorous appreciation for structure, flow, and user circulation, principles that I now apply directly to Information Architecture and digital user journeys. Working within the strict constraints of physical construction taught me how to balance aesthetic vision with functional reality, a skill that remains central to my UX practice today.
